Olivia's Bio

I am a CNRS researcher at PMMH, ESPCI in Paris. I am physicist by training interested by problems linked to biology like cell mechanics, migration and micro-organisms locomotion.

My research activities are focused on two topics: cellular biophysics where we aim at understanding different cellular processes linked to mechanical properties of the cell and fluid-structure interaction at low Reynolds number where we are interested in the coupling between flow and deformable objects at small scales. I like to work in close collaboration with colleagues from physics and biology, experimentalists or theoreticians.

I am also deeply involved in teaching at AIV Master, organizing a weekly biophysics seminar joint between ESPCI and ENS and part of the GDR Celltiss board.
